Hello, Portland!

Hello! It is so nice to see you on the brand-spanking-new Portland Bloggers website and blog. The website was created by two Portland-area bloggers with too many ideas to contain in just their individual blogs. This has been something that has been in the works for a while now and finally has come into fruition.

This website will serve as a way to update the Portland-area bloggers about new meet-up events. It will also highlight and promote the many awesome Portland blogs that are out there. It is a place to help promote, educate, and grow the bloggers in the Portland, Oregon region of the world.

A few goals for this site:

  • Inform Portland-area bloggers about future meet-up events. We meet every two months for socializing and blog talk. This will be the place to find out more information about each event.
  • Highlight and promote bloggers from the area. We hope to have guest posts and posts highlighting the many awesome bloggers from Stumptown.
  • Provide information and education for ALL bloggers with links and posts about the crazy world of blogging.
  • Highlight and promote Portland-area businesses and shop owners…. blogs and businesses go hand-in-hand, we hope to provide connections and reviews.

Please take a peak around the site, link up if you are a Portland area blogger, follow our blog, and leave us a happy comment. We’d love to hear from you!

I’m going to keep it short and sweet and let you peruse the site to find out more about what we plan to do. But, stay tuned… there is a lot of fun on the way!

PS. The next meet-up event is scheduled! Join us Sunday, August 26 from 1 to 4 PM for a Blog Photography workshop and discussion! More info will be provided on this site this next week. So follow the blog using e-mail, rss feed, or joining on Facebook!
