Photography Workshop Focused On Close-Up Shooting and People Photography
The opportunity to teach bloggers more about the type of photography that they actually use in their lives and their blogs was too good to pass up. Thankfully, we had some of the most talented Portland photographers volunteer their skills and a really beautiful space to work in. We covered SO much material in two different break out sessions and a photography panel that we are actually going to break these posts up a bit. Check back often over the next few weeks to see photography tips and what other bloggers learned at this event.
About the Venue—
About the Photographers—
There is no lack of creative talent in Portland, Oregon. Though, to be able to have some of the BEST Portland area photographers to teach photography tips… WOW. Don’t believe me? Check out there websites and come back over here. Linnea Paulina and Aubrie LeGault taught bloggers tips for photographing still life, close-up shots. This session was built for bloggers who often photographed food, DIY projects, or vignettes. Margaret Jacobsen took a group of bloggers outside to work on people photography, learning how to focus on details, step out of their comfort zone, and be more bossy to get the shot that they want. This session was perfect for bloggers wishing to improve their photos of fashion, DIY clothing items, and portraits. After the two break out sessions, the photographers gathered in the venue to answer photography questions.
