One of our favorite parts of our Back to Blogging School event is having some local talent speaking about what they do best. Earlier this year we surveyed bloggers to find out which topics they wanted to learn more about…. Design won by almost 30% over all of the other topics!

Our “teachers” for this year’s event include local talents Sze Wa Cheung and Carly J. Cais. The event will also include a round-table discussion about brand development and blog design trends. Bring your laptop and/or tablets if you’d like to get in some work and/or tips from fellow bloggers! Read on for more information about our speakers:
Speaker: Sze Wa Cheung, Graphic Designer
I consider myself as a maker most of the time, just making things in general. I have worked with some very talented local portlanders, from individual bloggers to restaurant owners. Currently working as an in-house designer at a tech start-up in town.
Sze Wa Cheung is a local graphic and visual designer that will be speaking with bloggers about basic blog design. Check out Sze Wa’s portfolio to see some of the work she’s done with companies and bloggers alike. Visit her blog to see her illustrations. Connect through Twitter or Instagram via @szewacheung.
