We always love a good success story…especially when it involves one of our own! Recently I received news that one of our former Portland Bloggers (she just recently moved after several years in Portland) had her novel PUBLISHED!
As many bloggers can attest… writing is not an easy job. The opportunity to get published does not often come without some hard work.
“It took me four years to find a publisher, and I spent most of three years working on revisions from my home in the Hawthorne District of Portland. I’m very grateful to the Portland writing community, including Portland Bloggers, for contributing to the book’s realization.” said published author, Jennifer Fulfurd.
About the book:
“Essentially, I’ve written an adventurous, romantic sequel to The Three Musketeers. “Blood, Love and Steel,” published this summer by London-based Thames River Press, explores the meaning of faith, love and hope,” explained Jennifer.
Here’s a short synopsis: Athos, the famed Musketeer, has become a Paris sideshow. His antics mask a menacing heartache from cruel memories of his first love, Milady. But a suicidal dare to end his suffering backfires, and Athos finds himself at the country château of a Comtesse he must seduce to save his reputation. Soon, Nicole sees through his pain, and love ignites. Tested by both God and the sword, Athos must fight for Nicole to seek his own redemption.
The first chapter of Blood, Love, and Steel: A Musketeer’s Tale is available on Book Daily The series website is www.TheMusketeerSeries.com.
