” Nothing But a Brand Name”
Why are we as consumers more inclined to buy global brand products compared to local brand?

Braja Apparel is a local brand that embodies ones lifestyle through style. We offer quality, simple and stylish apparel. Our goal is to provide our customers with the best experience possible. We go beyond just selling a product. We strive to build relationships with each customer. We believe in people over profit and do our best daily to represent that.

I am a Spanish girl who came to Portland four years ago following the love of my life. I work in public accounting #CPA, i love my beautiful rescued dog Maui and I am really into fashion. As I am done with my studies and finally starting to discover more places in Portland, I would love to share all my adventures with you. I hope you will like them!

Success occurs when your dreams get bigger than your excuses. For the last four years i had to balance my busy schedule at work with my studies. During that time i sometimes found really hard to find motivation to come back from work and keep myself focused on the books. So one of my motivations was the classic Chanel as a reward for myself whenever i passed my tests. This year it finally happened!! I passed all my exams and my husbands (who suffered with me the long hours of study and weekends in front of the book) surprised me with this beautiful bag. I am really excited because this was always my dream bag and because it represents a big success on my life and my career. As they say – don’t dream about it, work for it and it will happen!

Avanti Body Jewelry Blog
Fashion & jewelry blog from Avanti Body Jewelry.

We’ve helped people find fine and unique body jewelry since opening our first kiosk in Eugene’s Valley River Center during the summer of 2007. That experience launched us up I/5 to the Portland area and we opened our first Washington Square location in early 2008. Avanti, and our style of customer-first service was warmly welcomed and we’d found a great home base!

Owners Tyler & Janna Drake have helped to make body jewelry available in a clean, family friendly environment, and that service model led to the Avanti expanding into a custom built kiosk in 2010. That location was then expanded the following year with an even bigger footprint in Washington Square. The business continued to build inventory and variety while developing great relationships with a growing number of customers.

Our current showroom opened in June of 2013 and now our guests can stroll through 1,400 square feet of well-lit and great priced body jewelry. Being able to browse without a kid tagging along isn’t always possible. One of the best things about the move has been having the Washington Square play area immediately outside our door!

At Avanti Body Jewelry, we’re happy to have created a clean and welcoming place to come and browse, or get expert advice on what’s possible. Always helpful and smiling, our staff is trained to help customers leave with smiles of their own. They come back, too. We estimate that 80% of our customers are returning for more of the same great service. We hope you’ll come by to check us out in person, or visit our online store to see our great variety of body jewelry.

My Fashion Fixes
My Fashion Fixes
I blog about affordable fashion sans pretension.

“Fashion is a way to express yourself and everyone has different things to say….”

I have always loved dressing up and exploring the world of fashion. Even as a little girl, I used to dress up my dolls (and my stuffed animals!). However, I have felt that there are too many appendages to the art of dressing – rules, restrictions and pretension.

When it comes to fashion, books or any form of art, I hate pretension. Beauty is at its best when it emanates from the heart and while it is great to be inspired, it is not right to be bullied into following tedious trends and useless rules.

I truly believe it is not fashionable being a fashion snob. Therefore, I do not follow fashion mandates. Through this blog, I simply share a few helpful fashion tips, some outfits that I love to wear and my fashion inspirations.

My personal style – simple, minimalist and classic, with a dash of quirk. I also bring out of my kitty, a few simple tricks to attain affordable fashion fixes, smart ways to repeat clothes/accessories and recycle the wardrobe.

So check out the way I dress and dress the way you want!

Perspectives of a Portlander
A collection of editorial projects and blog exerpts, created and curated by Candace Molatore

By producing my own content, creating and publishing on my own website, and connecting personally with brands, I have
experienced all sides of the spectrum and have chosen to go in a different direction, outside of the norm of a typical Blogger.
I seek to create a bond between genuine brands and the consumer–to connect the best brands with the best people.
I work closely with brands and help market them to be exactly what their target consumer is looking for. By keeping
them up to date on everything media-wise, I help to connect them with the most relevant promoters for their brand.

Upon starting my blog I was a lonely college student in the lovely city of Portland looking to learn more about life and finding my own personal style. The Minimalist Look
A chic girl’s guide to life, love, and the pursuit of simplicity.

I have a confession: I’m a shopaholic. But I’ve seen the error of my ways- and I’ve changed for the better. I’m embarking on the trip of a lifetime- to simplify and declutter my life. Who says fashion can’t be simple?

The Minimalist Look is a lifestyle blog by me, Maranda “Mara” Kameron. It’s the love of my life in the form of a website- but *shhhh* don’t tell my boyfriend! This website has gone from an impulsive idea to my happy place and a second full time job. Thank you for taking the time to check out my little corner of the internet. The Radiant Goddess Collective
A bohemian-mystic’s guide to spirituality, following your intuition, unleashing your inner goddess, and living a pleasure-based life.

Hi! I’m Tara Howisey and I teach women { and a few men} how to apply high-performance habits, the law of attraction and a dash of magic to transform their lives from stressed and depressed to R-A-D-I-A-N-T!

I live in Portland, OR in the summer and Breckenridge, Colorado in the winter.

I’m an entrepreneur, blogger + YouTuber, landscape designer, and snowboarder.

I believe that life is meant to be fun, easy, and beautiful. We are meant to achieve our dreams. To feel sexy. To be wealthy. To find true love. It’s my deep commitment to my own pleasure that drove me to discover the spiritual principles of the law of attraction { which I call “magick” } and to conjure some crazy sh*t that convinced me that this bohemian, goddess stuff WORKS!

And now it’s time to share all this sparkly ju-ju with YOU!
My super-powers are spiritually, pleasure-based living, and finding vibrational alignment.

Come play with me. 🙂
