Success occurs when your dreams get bigger than your excuses. For the last four years i had to balance my busy schedule at work with my studies. During that time i sometimes found really hard to find motivation to come back from work and keep myself focused on the books. So one of my motivations was the classic Chanel as a reward for myself whenever i passed my tests. This year it finally happened!! I passed all my exams and my husbands (who suffered with me the long hours of study and weekends in front of the book) surprised me with this beautiful bag. I am really excited because this was always my dream bag and because it represents a big success on my life and my career. As they say – don’t dream about it, work for it and it will happen!

As a 3rd degree burn survivor, in addition to permanent scarring of my body it also created a lot of deep emotional scars; it forever changed my appearance and it sent me on a long lasting battlefield within myself and society. And this is where my story begins. My story begins because I have decided to publicly reveal true-self and share my journey in hopes to provide comfort and support to many of you who are dealing with physical and emotional scars. Regardless the size of the scar, emotional or physical, we are all very unique and it affects us differently. It can build us up or tear us down and prevent us from living the life we truly want to live. I hope my blog brings ease and motivation to your journey.

I named my blog Everyday Runaway because I don’t believe you need to quit your job, sell your belongings and live out of a backpack to “runaway” from the mundane, weekly grind of everyday life. So this site caters to the everyday Joe’s and Jane’s who want to make the most of what they have – be it weeks or simply weekends.
