Portland Writing, Reading, & Podcasts Blogs
A writer and stalking survivor posts about the aftermath of surviving stalking, life in general, and how to write about it all.
Hi! I’m Natalie. I’m closer to 30 than 20. By day, I’m a PR and social media specialist; by night, I’m, well, still a PR and social media specialist since PR isn’t really a 9-5 job. But during my free time/Sunday evenings/day dreams, I love exploring new things in food, travel, and tech. I’m a self-proclaimed geek, Disney-nerd, and movie enthusiast. I’m not an “expert” in anything in particular, but I don’t think you have to be – get out there and explore any adventure you wish!
Any Adventure is a lifestyle and culture blog featuring recipes, book reviews, geek/pop culture news, travel guides, and more. One day I might be experimenting with a new gluten free pie recipe, the next I might be exploring a new town on the Oregon coast, and the next I might be crafting a new cosplay for a local con. You may occasionally catch a glimpse of my husband, Kevin, and our three cats – Soxy, Detective Mittens, and Ali.
I love trying new things and hope to inspire you to do the same. Because every once in awhile, something goes better than expected. Through this blog, I hope to remind myself and others to notice the little unexpected intrusions of beauty in life, and never stop pursuing adventure
Lifestyle & travel blog with a focus on creative writing, freelance, SEO tips, personal stories, and exploration of the beautiful Pacific NW.

My work is a mix of editorial for magazines, web and ad copy, blog content, and editing for a range of clients. You can learn about working with me on the ‘Hire Me’ page – I welcome your interest and questions.
Writing and connecting with people are my passions. Thanks for visiting!
David Emami is Alone in Portland is a collection of stories that peer into the life of a middle-aged curmudgeon who enjoys antiques, ill-fitting clothes and solitude. Playfully illustrated with Bitmoji characters, his story comes to life as each day brings a new opportunity to soften his heart.
Though he loves covering the expeditions of others, Taylor Zajonc enjoys going on his own even more! This passion has translated into this blog, novels, non-fiction writing and speaking.
As a maritime historian, Explorers Club member, shipwreck expert and avid world traveler, Taylor Zajonc’s real-life adventures nearly exceed those of his fictional counterparts. His fascination with exploration began when he joined a Russian expedition to the deepest archaeological site on the planet, descending nearly three miles into the abyss of the Bermuda Triangle aboard a Soviet-era submersible.
Taylor’s debut novel, The Wrecking Crew is a thrilling adventure set in the world’s last frontier, a story of a deep-water salvage diver set free from a Moroccan prison and forced to lead a covert mission into pirate-infested Somali waters. When his expedition threatens to expose the true source of an oceanic plague, he must assemble an unproven crew of former enemies and fight for the fate of the entire region. This novel will be released by Blank Slate Press on February 23, 2016. (Pre-order now!)

A journal about life lived at a slower pace.
I help businesses get found online through Digital Outreach. Unlike SEO consultants, I build links to my clients’ websites by identifying relevant influencers in their industry and then exposing the influencers to my client’s best content.
As a memoirist currently, my blog is geared toward helping others see how writing their life story can help heal from abuses, hurtful incidents, and more. Also, I share news items related to writing and publishing as well as writing tips, resources and advice.
In this temporary, transitional life, I write about my passion for words, my times spent around the world, and those little things that make up the daily life of a business owner in Southwest Portland, Oregon.
For people who want to face their fears, find their voice, and tell their story
