I also know a little about weight loss. My dream of running my first Half Marathon at Disneyland at my goal weight had a lot to do with the motivation to lose weight, as well as being a healthier and happier person, mom and wife. With sheer determination, cleaner eating and exercise, I lost 110 pounds after the birth of my son. It wasn’t easy but it sure was worth it!
Before I became a work at home mom, I worked in the culinary industry. I still love to cook and now I create new healthier, lower calorie versions of recipes that are still full of flavor and delicious!

I became a vegetarian in 2007 due to a medical condition known as Chronic Pancreatitis. In 2010, I enrolled into Johnson & Wales University. I graduated four years later with degrees in Pastry Arts & Food Service Management with concentrations in Spirits & Distillation and Psychology. During college, The Vegetarian Baker was born.
