Hello, I’m Denise! I’m a PR friendly work at home mom blogger, bargain shopper, Disney fanatic, home cook, volunteer, and distance runner (26.2 x2, 13.1 x4, 10k x3, and lots of 5k’s).

I also know a little about weight loss. My dream of running my first Half Marathon at Disneyland at my goal weight had a lot to do with the motivation to lose weight, as well as being a healthier and happier person, mom and wife. With sheer determination, cleaner eating and exercise, I lost 110 pounds after the birth of my son. It wasn’t easy but it sure was worth it!

Before I became a work at home mom, I worked in the culinary industry. I still love to cook and now I create new healthier, lower calorie versions of recipes that are still full of flavor and delicious!

I also love getting deals and bargain shopping. I share my favorite tips, links and coupons on the blog with you too.

I’m starting a catering company.I’m happy you made it to my little part of the web. I’m a stay at home mom, wife, and student who loves to cook, write, and take pictures (mainly of my food & kids). Besides cooking I sew, do yoga (when I have time), take hikes with my family, and practice the occasional art of wine drinking. As of recent my life has been very busy. My husband (Alexander) and I just welcomed a baby boy (Atticus) into this world. Our beautiful daughter (Makenna) also just started kindergarten, which means school activities.

Hello Everyone.
My name is Jac (Sounds Like Jake) & I am a foodie, blogger, & youtuber. I am a full-time vegetarian and part-time vegan; that is what has become.
I became a vegetarian in 2007 due to a medical condition known as Chronic Pancreatitis. In 2010, I enrolled into Johnson & Wales University. I graduated four years later with degrees in Pastry Arts & Food Service Management with concentrations in Spirits & Distillation and Psychology. During college, The Vegetarian Baker was born.
TheVegetarianBaker started as an online based cooking show focusing on Vegetarian and Vegan recipes. Once it started getting traction, I created to have a hub for all my recipes with printable versions of them.
