Hi! My name is Erika and this blog is my place where I keep my inspiration, my favorite memories and most of all, my journey of makings things in both life and art. I am a self taught oil painter and I took the plunge to leave my corporate job in order to paint full time. I show my artwork around town and have been featured in the last three seasons of the television show, “Portlandia.” I am a mommy to my daughter Nora, who was born 7/11/12, which basically means we’re set with free slurpies for life. I have a bearded husband named Tim and have two pretty mischievous pugs. I believe in magic dust and that creativity lives and grows all around us. My secret wish is to lead the best life possible and to live on fast forward.

Hi! I’m Natalie. I’m closer to 30 than 20. By day, I’m a PR and social media specialist; by night, I’m, well, still a PR and social media specialist since PR isn’t really a 9-5 job. But during my free time/Sunday evenings/day dreams, I love exploring new things in food, travel, and tech. I’m a self-proclaimed geek, Disney-nerd, and movie enthusiast. I’m not an “expert” in anything in particular, but I don’t think you have to be – get out there and explore any adventure you wish!
Any Adventure is a lifestyle and culture blog featuring recipes, book reviews, geek/pop culture news, travel guides, and more. One day I might be experimenting with a new gluten free pie recipe, the next I might be exploring a new town on the Oregon coast, and the next I might be crafting a new cosplay for a local con. You may occasionally catch a glimpse of my husband, Kevin, and our three cats – Soxy, Detective Mittens, and Ali.
I love trying new things and hope to inspire you to do the same. Because every once in awhile, something goes better than expected. Through this blog, I hope to remind myself and others to notice the little unexpected intrusions of beauty in life, and never stop pursuing adventure

Kelly’s Sustainable Life is a space where I take the time to share my thoughts and experiences related to living a lifestyle that allows me to do my part to conserve resources and preserve the planet. I am well aware that the word “sustainable” is overused and misused to the point where it’s meaning has been lost. As much as it is overused, I still believe it is an accurate and succinct way to describe the way I live my life because I want my lifestyle to be attainable by everyone every day, and not something just for those who have the time and financial resources.

Hi, I’m Waz! I recently relocated from New York City to Portland, Oregon. Over the years, I’ve gone from flexitarian to vegetarian to mostly vegan, and my blog has followed me on this journey. A plant-based diet is healthier and kinder to my body, to animals, and to our environment. I believe the best way to win omnivores over is by raising awareness of the positive effects of the plant-based movement and by celebrating great food that just so happens to be vegan. Today, my blog focuses on all things veggie, from restaurant reviews, to vegetarian recipes, to lifestyle and local events.
Lastly, why Let’s Nom Nom? Because food brings people together, and great food is best enjoyed with company!

Stories about trying (and failing) to keep the house clean, surviving parenting with 50/50 custody, DIY crafts, figuring out how to dress in clothes that look good (but still stand up to Cheetoh-fingers and dog hair), swearing and run-on sentences abound.

I was one of the weird kids at school. I’m sure everyone says that but I have the pictures to prove it. From as early as I can remember I was always looking for something that made me, ME. I tried every club, joined every team, dressed up for every holiday and I mean EVERY holiday. I was looking for my place in the world.
As I became an adult that didn’t change. I read book after book on happiness, purpose, passion and any other thing I could think of that would help me find my place. I moved up in my career and was good at it, but it never really felt like a purpose.
Then one day on a stage in North Carolina, of all places, that changed. While my family regales anyone who will listen with stories of how chatty and bossy I have always been, talking in public was NOT something I was good at. But somehow on this stage it was different. I was speaking about women and the cultural changes we have seen in the last 50 years. I felt an electricity. People were laughing in all the right places, nodding in agreement and gasping with shock and awe when I wanted them to. I even had on a really great outfit that day. As I walked off that stage sweating and heart pumping, it came to me. THIS IS IT! This is what I am meant to do.
In that exact moment the owners of the company I was speaking at offered me a pretty sweet job. It was all so crazy, all this time searching and then BAM here it was. I found my purpose by spending 35 years hustling to find it. I realize that it was all the little things I learned that set me up for success. All the jobs I had ever dreamed of had one thing in common: talking. It was there the whole time, but I needed time to fine tune my instrument and realize that purpose wouldn’t show up exactly how I expected.
I am a storyteller and that is my place in this world. I am here to tell stories that inspire and build up other people to realize their value and purpose. My blog is an effort to push others towards their purpose and to lift up women and girls to their full glory.
I write about career, success, purpose, passion, culture, marketing , gender and just general good positive content.
