I photograph people. I photograph people during their most happiest moments in life from engagement to wedding to birth and everything in between. If you want real, fun photographs of your family (however big or small that may be right now) I encourage you to contact me today for a photo session. …Pets are always welcomed too.
I am on an adventure to mindfully savor food. In my blog I chronicle my kitchen creations and my quest to eat mindfully, to slow down and enjoy the smells, textures, and colors of food. I firmly believe it’s not about what you eat but how you pay attention. Full attention during a meal can mean you derive more satisfaction from just a few bites, than you might get by eating a whole big meal while distracted. I will share what I learn along the way.
My name is Emily, I live in Portland.
I am a photographer and love to explore both the Pacfic Northwest and beyond. I include photographs of my hikes, travels, as well as events I photograph and portraits. I sell my work on the site as well.

I am a professional photographer in Portland, Oregon. One of the genres I specialize in is Food Photography… and I love it! I photograph restaurants in the Portland area. I also freelance for Portland Monthly, Edible Portland and 1859 where you can see some of my food photography featured. I also like to play at home in my small studio, photographing delicious dishes and treats.
Born and raised in Oregon, and temporarily side-tracked to the Midwest, I am thrilled to have re-rooted in the Pacific Northwest where I can feast my eyes and my lens on such a beautiful place. On Photopotamus, I share stories about my life and my own photography of a variety of subjects in the world around me, including some of my favorite hobbies and interests – hiking, pets, orchids, and travel.

From the mountainous wonderland of Mt. Rainier National Park, to the sandy shores of the most southwesterly city in the United States, there are few things that I take more joy in than sharing my experiences with others. I aim to create content that provokes and motivates others to experience profound moments in their lives. Whether that is visiting the Dark Sky Park in Bryce Canyon National Park and climbing granite boulders in Joshua Tree to lounging at home after a hard working day with a cup of tea and practicing yoga for the first time. XO Series is a blog that presents my love for travel, nature, lifestyle, and beauty in words and images to those who will enjoy with me as I look for more things to discover, more food to eat, and more products to try as I take my home back to the Pacific Northwest in Portland, Oregon.
The blog offers training and grooming tips, photos, videos, product reviews and much more!
