As a 3rd degree burn survivor, in addition to permanent scarring of my body it also created a lot of deep emotional scars; it forever changed my appearance and it sent me on a long lasting battlefield within myself and society. And this is where my story begins. My story begins because I have decided to publicly reveal true-self and share my journey in hopes to provide comfort and support to many of you who are dealing with physical and emotional scars. Regardless the size of the scar, emotional or physical, we are all very unique and it affects us differently. It can build us up or tear us down and prevent us from living the life we truly want to live. I hope my blog brings ease and motivation to your journey.
